After an early image leak, Aston Martin has officially pulled the cover back on its revived roadster, the Vanquish. The British luxury automaker reports that the Vanquish is set to succeed the DBS, meeting many of its predecessor’s lofty supercar expectations, including a massive 5.9-liter V12 engine good for over 560 horsepower. That engine will ride on an updated version of the DBS’s aluminum and carbon fiber chassis (giving the front end a 13% weight reduction), and will feature ventilated carbon ceramic disc brakes and a brand new Launch Control system — the latter of which should come in handy towards getting the Vanquish to 60mph in a mere four seconds. Once you’ve picked your jaw up off the floor, you can check out the official press release information from Carscoop here.
