Nike LeBron 8 "Pre Heat"
LeBron James made his on court debut last night with the Miami Heat in a pre-season win over the Pistons. The Nike LeBron 8 will make its official debut to the streets across the US on October 26th, but a special drop is coming to LeBron’s new hometown. Word on the street is the Nike LeBron 8 “Pre-Heat” has a Miami release date of October 16th at the new Miami House of Hoops followed by October 17th at select Nike stores in Miami and a November 12th drop date online at Nike Store. A Sunday drop date sounds far from right so stay tuned for updates about the LeBron 8 “Pre-Heat” and other Nike LeBron 8 releases.The upper of the LeBron 8 sports an aqua and black color with pink liner and lace holes.
Dwight Howard, D-Rose & Slim Chin ‘Fast Don’t Lie’ (Music Video)
adidas is expected to put a lot of energy into its first signature models for Dwight Howard and Derrick Rose. The latest act of promotion sees the two aforementioned players, joining forces with actor Ken Jeong (aka Slim Chin), on a music video/track titled ‘Fast Don’t Lie.’ Howard and Slim Chin do most of the singing, while Derrick Rose can be seen in the music video playing 1-on-1 with Chin.

Earlier today, Chris Brown made his way back to Angie Martinez’ show on Hot 97 to speak on a variety of topics which included the success of ‘Deuces’ single, his canceled tour with Usher, his BET Awards MJ Tribute, fake industry friends, his forthcoming F.A.M.E. album, and his plans to shoot the video for his “Deuces” remix. He also reveals that he has a song on the way titled “Look At Me Now” (with him rapping) dropping soon. Props to Angie.

The Doernbecher x Air Jordan project continues in the form of a rejuvenated Jordan III silhouette. The uppers feature a varsity red colorway encompassing various textures, from cement print on the toe and heel panels to a unique monogram pattern that comprises the side panels and toe box. The sneakers are further accented with a black collar, midsole, tongue and laces. Throw in hints of silver outline details on the logo, and clear gum soles, and these sneakers are sure to conjure up a lot of talk. Tyga featuring Pharrell – First Time
Tyga shares his latest effort today, this time teaming up with Pharrell for this slow jam entitled “First Time.” This record will also make its way on Tyga’s second studio album, “Careless World”, which is scheduled to drop sometime in 2011. Also scheduled to make appearances on the album are his fellow Young Money label mates Nikki Minaj, Drake and Lil Wayne.

Done up in an original white/black/varsity red makeup, the kicks are definitely a worthy follow-up to the under-the-radar low tops which dropped some years back. Look out for a release on December 18th, 2010 via Jordan Brand accounts. Retail is set at a hefty $160 USD.

Another recent highlight within the Fall/Winter 2010 collection from Jordan Brand is this Air Jordan Fusion 10, done up in the classic Dark Shadow colorway. Just as previous releases in the same collection, each shoe will be individually numbered and will come with a branded shoe tree to ensure that the shoe retains its shape. Nike Air Royal Daybreak/Monsoon Blue-Retro
The Nike Air Royal has released in many fresh colorways for men and women over the past couple of years. The pair shown above, which was exclusively designed for the women (although some guys may find interest in it as well), features a very unique color scheme to say the least. The Daybreak color, a shade that has appeared on Nike sneakers throughout this year, covers the majority of the upper, while a dark Monsoon Blue graces the side panels and covers the swoosh. Lastly, the tongue tag and toe box appear in Nike’s new Retro color scheme. This Nike Air Royal is now available at Nike’s online store for $120.

With out a doubt, grey bases have set the stage for the ‘it’ colorways as of late. Old school or new school, on court or off court, grey sneakers have dominated the fall and will continue their reign this holiday season. Toshiba REGZA 3D TV
Toshiba unveil the world’s first LCD TVs that offer comprehensive 3D capabilities without any need for dedicated glasses. The new “Glasses-less 3D REGZA GL1″ series offers two models with screen sizes specifically designed for personal use: the 20-inch 20GL1 and the 12-inch 12GL1. Both TVs will be available in Japan from the end of December 2010. The new 3D TVs with no need for glasses employ an integral imaging system and a perpendicular lenticular sheet to display smooth, natural images, and Toshiba’s image processing technology to create nine parallax images from the original content and create to 3D images.
