While initial rumors hinted that Bentley would be debuting the Continental GT Speed at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed began to swirl last week, the rumor mill has come to a halt as official imagery of the forthcoming unveiling have surfaced. At the surface, the build and body of the car stay mainly intact; yet it is under the hood where the Continental GT Speed earns its stripes. Maxing out at a top speed of 205mph sets it as the fastest production car that Bentley has ever created. Furthermore, Bentley has cut down on the car’s overall height while maintaining 21-inch wheels that are draped in sticky 275/35R21 Pirelli PZero tires. Boasting 616hp with 590 lb-ft of torque, the 2012 Bentley Continental GT Speed will go on our list of yet another luxury ride to add to the wish list.
