Kanye West’s Runaway Film Premieres Oct. 23rd
The upcoming 35-minute film for Kanye West’s Runaway is set to premiere a week from today simultaneously on MTV, MTV2, MTV.com, BET, BET.com and VH1 at 8pm EST standard time. Kanye’s been overseas this past month debuting the film and details emerged that Selita Ebanks co-stars in the film as a fallen phoenix whom Kanye falls in love with. Nicki Minaj will be narrating the film in a British accent and the movie’s screenplay was done by Hype Williams.
Rihanna “Love The Way You Lie Pt. 2″ Featuring Eminem?
According to the folks over at ThisIsRnB, a sequel to Eminem’s mega-hit, “Love The Way You Lie” featuring Rihanna will appear on the singer’s forthcoming album, Loud. “Even angels have their wing cut schemes, and you take that to new extremes, but you will always be my hero, even though you lost your mind,” sings the Bajan artist. Alex Da Kid, who is credited for producing the original record, does it again on the song’s sequel. We’ll hear the record when Loud hits retail on November 16th. Shouts to UHTN

Air Jordan 1 Armour Cranberry
Here’s a detailed look at the latest colorway of the Air Jordan I, Armour edition. Featuring a metallic Cranberry upper, the shoe is somewhat reminiscent of the Iron Man suit. The shoe itself features an injection-molded foamposite shell, similar to Nike’s popular Foamposite model. The shoe should prove comfortable with its thick black ankle-padding, which matches the black midsole. Finished with a white outsole the Armour Cranberry is scheduled for a December release.

The goal for Microsoft’s latest smartphone is an ambitious one: to deliver a phone that truly integrates the things people really want to do, puts those things right in front of them, and either lets them get finished quickly or immerses them in the experience they were seeking. The result is Windows Phone 7, which will make its debut in some European markets on Oct. 21 and in time for the holidays in the U.S. The phone uses an elegant operating system that is very different from the current trend toward app-focused phones. Instead it provides active and configurable interface elements called tiles that update on the fly with real information, allowing users to place the tiles that interest them most where they want on their Start screen. Facebook photos, music and contacts are pulled into the phone and distributed appropriately across Hubs. It also brings together many of Microsoft’s popular offerings from other platforms, including Xbox, Zune, Office and Bing.
The new phone is an important step for Microsoft in three ways. To begin, it is a completely fresh start for Microsoft in smartphones. Second, it represents a new approach from Microsoft toward integrating products and services from across the company into the phone to create a richer experience and greater productivity. Hence the presence of Office, Zune and Xbox LIVE and their integration within the Hub model. And finally, the new phone approach is critical to Microsoft’s efforts to make new gains in the huge smartphone market, which despite the success of the iPhone and Android is still relatively untapped globally. Aston Martin Cygnet
It looks like the big boys are ready to make the move into convenient small scale vehicles as British automakers Aston Martin announce their plans to begin production on the Cygnet, a model heavily based on Toyota’s iQ. An obviously upgrade when it comes to the current crop of cars in its kind, the Cygnet will boast all of the quality one would expect from the esteemed manufacturer, hand-assembled at Aston Martin’s Gaydon in Warwickshire, England. No price has been set as of now, but details are sure to come in early 2011 when official production begins.

Birkenstock Japan Limited Edition “Montana”
Birkenstock Japan works up a limited edition version of its Montana shoe, an interesting design that pair suede uppers with a touch of leather. Animated in its shape, the design boasts a rather wide toe cap, fused together with a leather heel wrap. Thin leather laces put everything together atop a flat black outsole. Although not for everyone, there are some that appreciate the hippie Birkenstock look.
