EFFECTOR by NIGO Spring/Summer 2012 Glasses
Japanese brand Effector has once again worked with NIGO and add new models to their on-going collaboration. The ‘Darryl’ glasses and ‘Monica’ glasses have been inspired by ‘1984′ and will release in stores in the coming weeks.

Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Espa-Rubber
Converse Japan keeps it creative when it comes to their designs and themes for their sneakers. This time around, they drop another interesting version of the iconic Chuck Taylor All Stars. These Espa-Rubber shoes come in both a high and low and are comprised of a course textured canvas. The Espa-Rubber aspect of the name of these shoes points to the midsole with take on an espadrille appearance, only made in rubber. Each shoe comes in both a navy and white and they’re available now at Converse Japan.
Kinetics × New Era Leopard Snapback Cap
Japanese retailer Kinetics dropped a leopard fur adidas Superstar 80s shoe earlier this year and it looks as if they’re not done with the popular print. This time around they work with New Era on a couple of different snapback caps bearing the animal print; one version comes with it on the bill while the other features it all over the main part of the cap. You can pick these up at Zozo now.
BMW i8 Concept Spyder
BMW and its diffusion “i” brand pull the covers off its third concept, the i8 Concept Spyder. A direct relative of the i8 Concept Coupe, an eco-friendly form of mobility is the premise behind the beautiful piece of design and engineering. A 223 hp three-cylinder gas engine at the rear is paired with a 131 hp electric motor at the front which generates a combined 354 hp and 405 lb-ft of torque. Without the need for emission-releasing combustion, the electric motor can take the i8 up to 19 miles on a single charge. Performance wise, the car is no slouch featuring 0-62 mph sprints of five seconds and a top speed of 155 mph. Two scooters further enhance urban mobility as they’re stowed in the rear.HUF 2012 Spring/Summer Pastel Plantlife Socks
Extending its popular Plantlife theme from last year’s collection, HUF repeats the cannabis leaf motif on a series of pastel socks this year. The jacquard knit-patterned socks now come in three pastel hues: yellow, pink and blue, with white plant patterns and a double-layered heel and toe for greater comfort and durability. These are available now at the HUF online store for $12 USD a pair and are scheduled for shipment on April 4.
