PF Flyers 1949 Freemans Sporting Club Editions

Once again PF Flyers digs into its deep archive with a modern reinterpretation of the Taghkanic and Mohonk shoes from 1949. PF joins forces with the esteemed Freemans Sporting Club, a New York based retailer and label whose handmade menswear line is a celebration of local tradition and craftsmanship with enduring, timeless design exclusively available at their two stores. With both brands united in the ongoing pursuit of classic American style, PF has been long stocked at FSC’s NYC stores. The Taghkanic, named after a Hudson River lakefront holiday destination, is a revision of a saddle shoe from PF’s 1949 catalog. The Mohonk is a streamlined canvas rec boot named for FSC’s picturesque Appalachian Mountain escape. The 1949 Freemans Sporting Club Editions will be available exclusively at select boutiques such as American Rag Cie, Union Made, Stag and of course, Freemans Sporting Club.
