Jaguar C-X16

The C-X16 is the latest 21st century Jaguar sports car that comes powered by a combination of an all-alloy 3.0 liter V6 supercharged engine and a performance-boosting electric motor inspired by Formula One’s Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS). The innovative power system reduces fuel consumption through a hybrid engine as well as collect kinetic energy during braking. The KERS system results in an added performance-on-demand feature, “Push to Pass,” which offers the driver an instant boost of 95 hp and 173 lbs ft for up to 10 seconds. The exterior is constructed from a lightweight aerospace aluminum, while the inside underlines the ‘One plus One’ layout by deliberately creating a cocooned space. The interior references classic racing Jaguar cars with a shrink-wrapped dashboard to provide the driver with the best view forward. No word yet on a release, but there are still talks that the car may hit the road sometime in the next few years.

Jordan Winterized 6 Rings Light Charcoal/High Voltage

November will see a new colorway in Jordan Brand’s Winterized 6 Rings, a now customary release around this time of the year. Outfitted in a light charcoal/high voltage colorway, the boots carry a bit of a lighter scheme than previous Winterized drops, although the rugged outer still remains intact. City grey outsoles add some contrast while high voltage accents are featured along the heel pull tab and hiking style laces. Retail on these is set at $160 USD with availability through finer Jordan Brand accounts.

DQM x Ebbets Field Flannel Caps

Following the release of The General Apparel collection designed by DQM for Vans, DQM and Ebbets Field Flannels come together to release a selection of five custom-made wool baseball caps. Calling upon a variety of nostalgic materials, the hats feature a classic green underbrim and felt patchwork on the front panels. All five colorways are now available here.

Moncler Moon Boots

Taking pointers from their refined outerwear offerings, Moncler make use of its signature quilted shell insulation for its Fall/Winter 2011 Moon Boots. Available in two subdued colors, the boots have been a fixture on the Moncler runway for some time and feature a rubber crepe sole and leather detailing along the heel, sides and toe box. Coordinating laces and drawstring are secured with gold-tone D-ring eyelets and an embellished drawstring detail. Moncler branding is limited to small leather inlays along the boot’s heel.
