While it may never come to actual fruition, preliminary images of the Bugatti Gangloff concept
certainly provide ample excitement for what the next generation
supercar may look like from the French manufacturer. Polish designer Pawel Czyzewski
drew inspiration from the 1938 Type 57 SC Atalante Coupe — but even
casual gearheads will note a nod to a current beast being churned out
dubbed the Veyron. In speaking about the project Czyzewski commented,
“In time of commercial trash and plastic it is hard to see something
that has a soul and is able to squeeze out a positive mark on the
heart.” This is obviously an attempt to harken back to a period of
exclusive and hand-built automobiles – with key design attributes
including muscular front fenders and rear shoulders and slender flanks
featuring the traditional blade-shaped air intakes.
