The architect behind his own namesake brand, Junya Watanabe continues to present consecutive collections with the COMME des GARCONS MAN range that blend both contemporary designs with a level of traditional and utilitarian tailoring. From the well-received March releases, the Japanese designer offers a look into the label’s latest releases for Spring 2012. Offering a selection of enticing outerwear, one of the notable pieces takes shape via a Hooded Parka made of waxed paraffin. Continuing with a detailed Denim Work Coat adorned with polyurethane trims, a corduroy collar and brown suede elbow patches, the range is rounded out with a pair of canvas Duck Boats, a Chambray Work Cap before concluding with two functional trousers – the Work Pant and 5 Pocket Pant. This cleverly bold yet wearable collection will be available at select global stockists starting this month including HAVEN.
